Agreed, but that's not exactly a high bar.AFAIC this series is the best live action Star Wars release since Empire Strikes Back.
It’s the best thing that ever came out of Star Wars because it has the least to do with Star Wars. It’s just a good story with a good character. The in-world mythology of the franchise is weak.

Ha! We watched the latest two episodes last night and I hit pause and asked my wife, “Did he just say TPS reports?”I wonder if the Moffs got their TPS reports....
Hayden Christensen is being allowed to act again?
He was in Jumper, which is a terrible movie that I enjoy. I saw him in something else I can’t remember. He’s not good but the prequels definitely aren’t his fault. He is actually old friends with Rosiario Dawson. I wonder if she put in a good word for him with the Disney execs. Too bad they are the wrong ages to play live action Anakin/Ashoka.
I don't actually think Christensen's acting was terrible in the prequels. What's the quote about "rising to the level of your incompetence?" Acting in front of a green screen must be the worst, and he just had such awful lines to work with: “I don’t like sand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.” They're bad movies, but Hayden Christensesn didn't single-handedly ruin them.
For sure after tonight! Also, it felt like they are back on track.
