That's a coincidence...I was only reading a similar story about him coming in and personally I was delighted!
The three shows I've seen him in, Deadwood, Justified, and Santa Clarita, I've thought him a great actor.

I've only seen him in Santa Clarita, so I'm hoping he's a good actor. I like that show, but I'd hate to see that character in a Star Wars setting.

THANK you! I was telling everyone that I like the show but hated the musical score! I;m excited for the next season as I heard Rosario Dawson was tapped to play Asohka Tano.

I don't believe this but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.
The Mandalorian Star Reportedly Quit The Show Halfway Through Season 2
“While filming Season 2 Pedro Pascal really wanted to have some scenes with his helmet off,” says Randolph. “The Mandalorian creative team wouldn’t budge on this. So Pedro Pascal, from what I’ve heard from two sources now, was frustrated about this and also was pretty darn uncomfortable in the Mando suit on set. So, he became difficult.

And the final straw, even though he was difficult to be around on set, the final straw was that he went to Lucasfilm, from what I’ve heard from my sources, to try and get them to intervene on his behalf. And you combine that with Lucasfilm already trying to get involved with story aspects of Season 2, which I’ve also heard. Including focusing more on standalone episodes rather than making them more connected, which I’ve heard The Mandalorian creative team wanted to do, which was kind of happening at the end of Season 1. So, when Pedro Pascal went to Lucasfilm, the Mando team was like, ‘You know what, you should just go’. And Pedro Pascal did. And that happened halfway through filming. Now, as I said, I’ve heard the break up was pretty bad with both sides upset.”

I saw that too.

He said he thought the character was Clint Eastwood like, which is funny because when I started watching and first heard his voice I thought it was Clint. It would be cool if they got Clint to do the voice role. Anybody could be in the suit.

I gain a lot of respect for an actor when he takes a roll that covers his face. Like Karl Urban in Dredd (great movie btw). Stallone refused and insisted on showing his face in the piece of garbage version he did. Pedro Pascal is a good actor. He's, what, B list? C list? Having his face in a show that only streams on Disney isn't gonna elevate his career.
