The Mandalorian - TV series

I gain a lot of respect for an actor when he takes a roll that covers his face. Like Karl Urban in Dredd (great movie btw). Stallone refused and insisted on showing his face in the piece of garbage version he did. Pedro Pascal is a good actor. He's, what, B list? C list? Having his face in a show that only streams on Disney isn't gonna elevate his career.
I thought he was good in this, thrones and narcos. At the very least this role guarantees him paid appearances at nerdcons for life.

Side note, a close relative and her husband worked with the real life agent he played in narcos.

Oberyn will get him in the door of any of those conferences Mando doesn't. :)

I was under the impression he's just voicing the character. Someone else is in the costume. At least that's what I thought I read somewhere.

I was getting ready to dig in for season two, then I saw this headline:
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
I didn't mind him in Deadwood, couldn't stand him in Justified.
Looks like I'll have to pass on season two.

I don't see why some folks get excited about Olyphant showing up in stuff. Last summer, a few folks I know were all giddy when he popped up in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. His part in that was insignificant and his performance was lame.

I'm guessing he gets work on all these big shows because he's buddies with those involved... and/or he's got a good agent.

Regardless, he needs to go away.

Ah, it seems you are right. That's good news for me.

He's pretty good in the current season of Fargo.

I finally started a couple of weeks ago. Like most of us here, I've been a Star Wars fan since childhood, but for numerous reasons, I haven't been happy with the recent output of movies. I was on the fence for a long time about watching this, but I finally caved in and I'm loving it. If they were looking to make the fans of the original 3 movies happy, they've done a great job. So many easter eggs and references to places/things from those movies.

Some of the casting has been surprising as well. Not gonna lie - seeing Gus Fring fly a TIE Fighter made my week.
