the meaning behind your TB name?

Even though the first died more than a decade before and the other had been out of the league for three years when I was born:

I love Otis Redding.

I love Oscar Robertson

And my girlfriend says, "you know what any woman will think that's a reference to, don't you?" I guess that's a bonus.

hbar

The Planck constant (denoted h) is a physical constant used to describe the sizes of quanta. It plays a central part in the theory of quantum mechanics, and is named after Max Planck, one of the founders of quantum theory. Planck's constant divided by 2π is called the reduced Planck constant (also known as Dirac's constant) and is denoted ℏ, pronounced "h-bar". It is defined mathematically as:

When i was in 4th grade there was a lot of spare time in my classes as i was miles ahead of everyone else and there wasn't any advance classes except for a school i would go to every friday. Well since i had all this time and i would be the only one done i would doodle on paper and write messed up deranged stories with demented creatures... my favorite of which was a combanation of my favorite animal and my favorite food. The CheeseMonkey. That was how the cheesemonkey was born.

Flakeh, Taken from the keys player from rammstein, flake, added the "h" to show pronunciation.

I get called this for Holding the legacy of playing Rammsteins "du hast" keyboard intro through the PA at our school. Suspended for a week, All that fun stuff.

Also, Some people think I am flaky becuase I have different priorities, So that works too.

it's also used in the famous heisenberg uncertainty principle, the bane of every physicist.

so... how the hell do you pronounce it?

ryco = Ryan Collins. Ryco was a name my wife came up with for a sign shop I was running out of our garage in the early 80s. Kinda stuck.

Guess it also means "the sound of a flash of light" in Japanese, as in CD players laser assembly.

Hanson is my last name.

Howlin' because I started out as a singer. Why do I play bass now as well? You select:

1) Hanson likes multi-tasking.
2) Was offered a job in a band, but only if I also played bass.
3) Wanted something in my hands besides a d@#n microphone.
4) Wanted something to do while the keys and guitar played solos.
5) Always tried to sing the bass guitar parts; when I couldn't hit the notes, decided to do it for real.

And it's better than my first nickname: Fat Steve. (Irony: I was 6'3" and weighed 135 lbs.)
