Lull TBird pickups are absolutely incredible. I really took a shot in the dark buying a JT4 and it's been one of my best gear buying decisions to date.

I was wanting an IMA4 and sent a DM to Spencer about the differences from the IM4 to the JT4 since i found a JT4 online for a good price. After some back and forth he said to also ask Ian and he leaned me into the JT4 because of the smaller body and lighter weight. I'd love to custom build one to the exact specs I'd want but man it gets really pricey with the options I want.IMA4 is my first experience with the Lull TBird pickups—love 'em…which then prompted a custom PT5 build, now in the works. My gosh, Spencer's become an expensive text buddy…View attachment 5316037
Speaking of selling and buying... I just bought this from the shop. Ever since I picked up the NRT4, I'm smitten with Lull guitars.
FYI, I'm selling my Nordy vj5 and my AVRI '58 P in the classifieds.

Yeah, I really like the necks on Lulls and when that bass popped on the Lull website, I bit like a hungry brown trout. The rosewood neck is a thing of beauty and the "Porsche Chalk" color tripped my trigger.I was wondering who picked that one up. Congrat!

I wanted that bass so, SO, bad and looked at it several times trying to figure out how to swing it. I'm surprised it lasted two whole days. Congratulations on your new purchase...it's an absolute beauty and I agree...that rosewood is perfection.Speaking of selling and buying... I just bought this from the shop. I just knew this bass guitar had eyeballs on it… I could feel it. So, after two days, I just did it. Now I have to sell a couple nice basses or my wife will roast my A.I wanted that bass so, SO, bad and looked at it several times trying to figure out how to swing it. I totally agree, he's a great guy. I have two Lull's and never have I spoken directly to the CEO of Any company before talking to Spencer. We chatted some 20 minutes about my 2009 PJ his dad made and played. My other one was purchased last year so that's why I was undecided and waited too long on this one. LOL But I know you'll enjoy it.I just knew this bass guitar had eyeballs on it… I could feel it. So, after two days, I just did it. Now I have to sell a couple nice basses or my wife will roast my A.
I just want to add, Spencer is a Quality human being… Great to deal with and has done a great job taking what his dad built to the next level.
+1 and I am lucky to live in the same town as Lull HQ. In fact, I am going there today to pick up a Sandberg they did some work on. The brothers Lull and a few others I've talked with there are excellent people. Can't wait for my JT4 to be completed in a month or two.I totally agree, he's a great guy. I really want the short scale P they've been posting about, but my wallet can't handle it. We only need one kidney right?

Recently bought a Mesa 212 and told my wife about it. She was chill as well. I think she knows at this point. Sometimes decisions will be made, and money will be spent. Not a day later a couple pairs of shoes showed up on our doorstep LOL.Told my wife about the purchase… she was surprisingly chill about it.
Exactly... My wife told me "it's what you do. You'll be buying music gear until the day you die." And we also get Amazon deliveries nearly on a daily basis.Recently bought a Mesa 212 and told my wife about it. She was chill as well. I think she knows at this point.
