The Mike Lull Club Part 4

Exactly... My wife told me "it's what you do. You'll be buying music gear until the day you die." And we also get Amazon deliveries nearly on a daily basis.
Yeah man I told my wife that she makes micro purchases. I just make macro purchases. We both spend way too much on stuff we don't need because life...well life sucks a lot lately.. but it all balances out in the end.

Buying stuff has replaced religion and living in nature.

Edit: But, buying guitars and playing them ain't half bad.

@Matt Dean , this one yours? :)

So you are the one who got it after I gave you the killer deal on the NRT4. I had my eyes on it too. Got the Lull bug.
Congrats View attachment 5348049
Yes, indeed it was you that enabled me to discover the excellence of Mike Lull Guitars. And for that I am grateful. The NRT4 opened my eyes to the quality of workmanship, the thunderbird pickups opened my ears to a whole new tonal concept… and the extra fret has opened up my playing.

So when I saw the Porsche Chalk P4 appear on the Lull website… I bit. I love P basses and now I can't live with out the extra fret.

Do you still own an IMA4? Anything you don't love?
My IMA4 isn't going anywhere…no complaint's! Just wanted my own specs in a 5-string version (P body, A-bridge, ash/ebony, single T-bird pickup in the P position, roasted neck, etc)…a more aggressive Pbass (though a roasted neck probably doesn't help my goal)…I'm just addicted to roasted necks…:cool:

I'm hoping to snag one from the next batch, but we'll see!
