The Mike Lull Club Part 4

This is my go to Mono dual bass gig bag. I also have a single for when I'm only taking one guitar.

Hi Geri, this is onboard bag
Goes right in the overhead no issues.
Yes you are correct it is noticeably less intrusive than any of the Mono.

The true touring choice is Reunion Blues Gig bags.

I will check the Enki hard case…

How do you find the RBX compared to the Continental? I assume the Continental would fit a 35" 5 string jazz similarly?
I have a Continental and it's a great bag as well and yes totally fine with a 35".
It's a thicker than RBX and Monos…Great bag, but I need protection and something that is easier to travel with. The RBX is sleeker and has those 'crush free' spots. My buddy Phil, came back from a European tour with the same RBX double I use on his run with Steve Vai and had no issues.

I am seriously beginning to think about ordering a new Lull - either a V4 or M4V. I plan to be in Seattle in April and will definitely stop in the shop. Anyone know the approximate lead time on a new instrument?
When I asked about lead time back at the end of October it was around seven months. Of course that could well have changed since.

Fyi The Bass Shop in Seattle has two used V4's, i have played both and [no surprise] they play and sound great. I have no affiliation other than being an occasional very happy visitor and customer.

You're still correct, last week Spencer said 6-8 months for new builds.

That's not bad at all. I was hoping it would be a year or less, so that's good news for me. Thanks, guys. I appreciate it!
