It is a genuine part, and paint job is legit, but it was stolen in transit from Pat Wilkins to Mike Lull. Do not buy. Spencer is on it.

Spencer and Ian need to do a ride along with Cops and do a local pickup.

My guess is that someone stole it, sold it to a shop, and now it's on Reverb. Shop might be blissfully unaware that this is stolen as manufacturer necks are often sold apart from bodies.

But it might fit another Lull. I'm sure there are some Lull owners that would like that inverted oversized headstock.

Happy to rejoin the Lull family! I bought this passive PJ5 (34") in Sage Green Metallic a few months ago from a fellow TBer. Matt at bassramp.com made the ramp. It's wearing TI flats and is a groove monster! Talked to Spencer about converting the controls to VBT but decided against it. Works and sounds fine as is.

I've had numerous PJs in the past, including a beautiful '66 P that I had converted to a PJ setup (I was a kid--what did I know?) and never really liked the way the two pickups worked. Something about the humbucking P and single-coil J prevented them from complementing each other. But this one has a hum-cancelling J and they work well together. I can get Jaco-ish tones from the J pickup and adding a bit of the P provides depth without really changing the J's character. The P pickup can go full classic Rocco and a tad of the J provides definition.

The PJ5 needed a friend... Gonna put some TIs on it in a bit and ramp is ordered from bassramp.com. Hard work playing without a ramp!

Been thru a bunch of P's over the years, but recently reduced my core "P stable" to these three; all killer tone flavors…

•MLP4…Aztec Gold Metallic, solid alder/Brazilian rosewood, 1.75" nut, 8.0 lbs, TI flats.

•P5 Nitro Frost Blue, light relic heirloom, solid roasted ash/bem, 1.75" nut, 34", 8.0 lbs, 760 FL's.

•P4 Nitro Pellum Blue, heavy relic heirloom, solid roasted alder, Indian rosewood, 1.54" nut, 8.0 lbs. 760 FL's.

Other P's on hand…Fender Mustang (short scale vibe), and Dingwall SP1 PJ. Imo, the DW does its own non-classic thing (though I realize many SP1 owners would strongly disagree. : ))

Great P collection.
I'm adding a 2022 P4 from @Killens84 to my 2013 Lull P5 that I bought last year.
My other P's in the collection are a 2018 Fender CS-P and 2010 Lakland Glaub P.
