yeah I saw that on their site...thats 3 tone burst!
The bridges are adjustable somewhat...the 20mm bridges will go to almost 19mm.
I had a .750 19mm fender spacing hipshot in my drawer and 3 of the 4 bolts went in fine! so I put those as close as they could be and it came out to 18.1mm....so I am pretty happy with that! but now I dont have to mess with it on my P4 coming!
I got alder too....my others are ash....their Ps are usually really light under 8 anyway...I think it says on sandiego site what the weight is.
I am not sure if they chamber them but they must do something they are so light! they all sound fantastic so whatever they are doing they are doing it right!!

mike reduces weight the old fashioned way.

1-selecting good wood
2-aluminum hipshot bridge
3-hipshot ultralight tuners
4-magic

I don' recall him chambering many. I'm sure he'll do it if requested, but not his standard practice.

Ron is starting to book with the new drummer now...We have a couple of west coast shows in August and then I'm not sure what He has for end of the summer LOL...I gave him my availability so I'm just waiting for the dates.

Hello Lull folks...So I received a few emails on my Lulls. So I thought I would post my response here.
Why 2 ash M5Vs?, Are they any different? Whats your favorite color? :wacky: (ok maybe not that last one)

-I like Ash pure and simple :)
-The besides the board one being maple and one being ebony the real difference is the electronics and pickups.
Both basses are pretty sonically speaking in the same ball park acoustically speaking.

Ebony - has the overwound Nordstrand "El Camino" pickups with a Nordstrand pre. A little more mids (Picture Dimarzio Model Js as a 5)
Maple - A little more scooped, that traditional maple/ash thing... I love it

I think it does to a degree...Less mids then alder/rosewood for sure.
