The Muckelroy Bass Club Part 1 (It's high time!)

Wow, Bryan. That one is a BEAUTY. I might have to snag a short scale muck too…although my hands are full with the 4 string right now thanks to you!

I actually tracked down the “last sold” spot of the bass. And the seller (John Fox Basses) said it went to a guy named Tony. John was nice enough to email Tony and pass along my contact info, but I haven’t heard from him. So I assume he’s happy with the bass and not interested in selling it.

Glad you’re enjoying the Muck 4. That’s one of those basses I will definitely miss! But alas, I made the hard decision to focus on short scales only.

I'm selling my mint condition 2022 Muckelroy Pro Player. Only selling because I've acquired 3 Ken Smith basses since January of this year and really need to thin my herd to recoup some costs. This bass sounds and plays like a dream. Super light, very low action with no buzz and the neck is second to none. Plays like absolute butter. Anyone who knows anything about Brady's builds knows the quality is top notch. I've also included 3 YouTube links so you can hear this beauty for yourself. I recorded into a Bergantino Super Pre directly into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 using Studio One 4. I used an app called Moises to strip all the original bass tracks from the songs so what you're hearing is 100% the Muckelroy. Asking $3,200.

Here's the specs:

Maple neck

18mm string spacing (adjustable)

Hipshot A style bridge

Hipshot tuners

Bartolini Quad Coil Pickups

@Bryan Threlkeld They’re Delanos, but I may switch to Armstrongs. First thing is to switch the flats back to rounds. I have to say the bass already feels like home. The scale length, string-spacing, and body shape are exactly right for me.
I went back and forth between Delanos and Armstrongs on my Mucks. Both are very nice, but I lean slightly toward the Armstrong's sound. And 33", 16.5mm, on the HMC model feels very comfy to me, as well. Enjoy this beauty!

Hey all, anyone have a 6 string fretted or fretless Muck OR a 5 string fretless Muck 34” that’s interested in a trade or trade +/- cash?

Strong preference for a 34” scale all around but may consider a 33” but only if it’s a 6 string. DM me if you got something 👍
