Well since the English Muff'n is not allowed on the list, I vote for the Metal Muff...

I am curious as to why people seem to not have much love for the Double Muff? Or is it that not many people on here have tried one?

Link Removed modifies Sovtek Big Muffs. I have never known anyone (bassist or otherwise who has used a Moho Muff)

This is my favorite distortion for bass. The Slovtek has a 'boominess' to it that it's NYC counterpart lacks.

I have been jonesing for a SansAmp BDI as I like the 'gritty' sound of its distortion, not to mention it's pre-amp and DI functions.

Got one, It works really well. Never tried a stock one, but there is very little (if any) bottom lost when it is turned on. My tone doesn't suffer when it is turned of as well. I Highly recommend this pedal for anyone who wants the Russian model with AC adapter capabilities.

I tried the nano metal muff at GC, wanted to try the nano muff, but might like the pocket MM more cause it has volume and distortion as opposed to the single rate control on the Nano Muff to set both distortion and volume. I've also played through the LBM and that's what really got me started on wanting a muff, so maybe I should just get that. Well it's off to the Bay to search and ponder muff's

ive had my russian muff since the dawn of time. yes, it has its flaws, such as low end robbing, BUT... i am yet to find a better sounding fuzz pedal. for anyone who knows, as posted in the "post your pedalboard" thread. i also have an MXR Blow Torch on my board, but as far as fuzz quality goes, the EH Muff wins hands down.

i am playing on a little muff, the sound is killer, except of my horrible bass sound...

haven't tried any other muffs except of little and big muff, their sounds are quite the same though.
