My psuedo-intellect alarm just exploded. She clearly knows little about music, and I'm beginning to doubt her vintner credibilities.

If there are any expensive red wines... the ones that taste like the floor of an old barn in France... then dig out the Sunn 0))) and drone metal those guys.

I like that approach. Either that, or go the opposite route: have a bottle of cheapo supermarket wine sitting on my amp, chug it from the bottle, and be like, "Hell, I dunno 'bout that fancy stuff (BURP)"

Can't go wrong with some Zappa. For the wine that's balancing between revolting and tasty, go with "Bobby Brown." If your sax player is named Chester, play "Florentine Pogen." Though I doubt he'd get laid after that...
