I'm certainly not a fuzz expert and I haven't used a BDDI, but I do like the BFD so far (I have the green and black big muff's and some distortion for comparison)... I can coax quite a few different sounds from it and the blend helps keep some bottom. I haven't played it live yet, but plan to give it a try. It's fun running it in front of a filter and phaser or into the VT21. I need to dial the dry/wet levels back making the blend more touchy - seems like the pedal adds a lot of gain but it might be something in my setup.

M-80 user here. I bought that because I was tired of carrying my Boss GT-6B (from wich I mainly used the preamp). Now I put that little box in my gig bag, plug that into the mixing console, turn on the phantom power and that's it. I'm getting old and lazy to carry stuff around. It would be even better to have a M-80 with a cardboard chassis, to make it lighter!!

Still trying to get the Blowtorch to sound right. If it doesn't work out, ProCo Rat, Bass Fuzz deluxe or El Grande could be options, but it would be great if I could find a decent sounding fuzz that could work on 18v and fit on this board. The Memory Toy is space-filler and will be gone as soon as I get either an EVH Flanger or the Micro Flanger. The whole thing is powered by a DC Brick.

I'm currently trying out different modulation settings with the two screws inside the Carbon Copy Delay pedal. Width and Speed. Very interesting ... BTW I love this pedal !

Also have a favour for the Bass Fuzz Deluxe, Bass Octave pedal and the Bass Envelope filter by MXR and will buy one or two of those three in the next time I think ...

tell us more about the results with your modulation settings, i never touched the internal pots.

if you want more MXR pedals: go for the Fuzz Deluxe and Envelope Filter ... you will love them (got them all).

The bass octave deluxe manual has the Playhouse settings which is believed to be as close as possible to the OC2 tone use by Pino. I don't have an OC2 so does it do a good job? I find the setting a little thin and need to dial in some Girth to fatten up the tone a little.

Does Victor Broden in his excellent demo of a few MXR pedals capture the OC2 tone? Skip to 6:30 for his preferred setting.
