The MXR Official Club

Has anyone in this club tried the Micro Flanger on bass? The Bassic Gear Review video made it sound pretty good, and I like the Flanger side of the Bass Chorus Deluxe, but the tone controls introduce some unpleasant hiss when DI'd if I have the treble set too high, so I'm trying to find an inexpensive alternative that adds to a growly tone the way the BCD does.
I have use the micro flange on bass in the past it is a lot more subtle than the flange on the BCD. I can't remember if it had any hiss though it's been several years since I had one.

I like it To my ear it tracks much better than an OC-2 and can sound almost as synthy if that is what you are going for . And as far as octave and clean mix it sounds very good. I have not used the octave down might be useful for dub or something or maybe just a touch to bring in some super lows.

Idk if I posted this before but here is my MXR collection.

Thanks. At one point I had Bass fuzz Deluxe and the Bass comp Bass Octave Deluxe Abd the Bass Envelope filter. But all have been replaced I could never get the filter to quack how I wanted it to and the Bass octave was good but the Sub N Up is more versatile and I acquired a made in Japan OC-2 and recently a Vintage Bass Octave to round things out there . I have a Keeley Pro Comp and the Darkglass Hyper Luminal Comp and a TC Electronics Spectracomp . I found I was watching the lights too much on the MXR Comp and was using way too much compression just to get the lights to come on. I am going to grab a Bass Chorus Deluxe and see how I get along with it.

I love the BCD because it's so warm.

I saw this board and I was like damn look at that bottom row!
Oh there's a club! I'm in. I have several others not pictured. Always my favorite brand.

Does not lose the lows, and it also has a great flanger. I have an Analog Chorus (made for guitar) which also works surprisingly well with bass.

Is this club still ongoing? I know I'm very late to the party but after an extensive search for the perfect distortion pedal I bought the M85 and it's on it's way to Little Rhody as I type and I'm a bit excited as I've always loved bass distortion but hate the tone suck and noise.Hope this one lives up to the hype.

I have had it for a couple weeks and I'm putting it through its paces. So far I like it, but I'm still getting it dialed in.

Does as far as I'm concerned. OK, so there's a little noise when it's on but I've heard much much worse.

What are the group's thoughts on the Bass Chorus Deluxe? I have an old DOD Deep Freeze that I love, but the MXR seems pretty great too, and slightly smaller.
I'm new to the club and just bought my 1st the M85 distortion but being the pedal junkie I am I've pored over any reviews or videos I can find and it seems one will search far and wide to locate a bad word on MXR effects.
