Bass effects in the first song "Viimeiset hetket ovat käsillä"

Link Removed my band - for the recordings we had 2 bassists (!). i used chorus, pedal bend, fuzz, touch wah at different points (all on my gt-6b)

bass tone is: Fender MIM Jazz>di into firepod>fuzz (cubase's quadrafuzz=my fav fuzz for bass).

The first song has more effects than the other. The bass part right before the solo is two cream pies stacked, there's a micro POG shortly after that.

Second song I use an FX 25 at the very beginning as a low-pass filter and just play roots but for whatever reason we couldnt get that to sound good recorded, therefore, no effects on that song other than a Cream Pie I leave on all the time.

On this first track, the melody was created by running my '83 Alembic Distillate bass thru an old Maestro W-2 "Sound System for Woodwinds" and Sola Sound Wah pedal. I also used a '73 Gibson Triumph for the bass part, with a bit of Ashdown envelope filter in the middle section.

This second track also features the Alembic for the bass, melody, and solo parts. Here I'm using the bass to control a Korg X-911 analog guitar synthesizer. The synth tracks the pitch of the notes played on the bass, and triggers its sounds based on that. I processed the Korg thru a Roland RE-301 Space Echo, and recorded everything direct thru an [Invalid or Expired Link Removed].
