Something that I've always loved doing is listening to other bassists, even other musicians for that matter, and seeing how they incorporate effects into their riffs/songs. It helps to get those creative juices flowing when the springs starting to run out. So do it up people post your myspace where you got songs that incorporate as little as one effect or as many as 100. The more the merrier.

. I am using a Digitech Grunge (actually for metal guitar but great distortion for bass, a Boss chorus, a Boss Blues Driver (with CEB-2 chorus) on Looking Past the Edge (my favorite to play) and touch of reverb from a modeled Laney amp.
