The great thing about a seven string is:Not only can you play regular bass,

You can also play it vertically.Like a Chapman Stick! Snapshot_2015308 (2).jpg
Using Touchstyle technique on all the strings!

You can also do high register chords.
Use a pick for lead lines.
    Or tap massive polychords.

I got this because I wanted an N/S Stick.
But an N/S Stick is $2,600.00.
    This was $560.00.
And is one string away from a N/S Stick.
For the muting issue I bought an XL size FretWrap. Snapshot_2015203.jpg

My 7 string is made by the same company that makes Woodo basses.

Count me in! My budget 7 string, Harley Benton BZ-7000 NT. Can't complain about the spec... 35" scale, thru-neck, through body stringing and 18 volt Active circuitry.

This is the one that started it all. Only other 7 string that I have been able to play comfortably.

Hoping to be in the club this afternoon :woot:. FedEx has my bass at one of their facilities pretty close. I am trying to set up a pick up (otherwise delivery won't happen until Monday :***:).

I don't have one, but has anyone ever come across the SR7VII?
    ibn7.jpg
it's a bass VI style instrument, but with seven strings ...so a bass VII. Sounds like it'd be kinda sweet because I've been a bit gassy for a bass VI recently.

Wednesday,my Wolf 7 will go to G.C. to have these scheduled upgrades.
    • Delano SBC-7 HE/S pickups.
    • Gold Hipshot Triple Lock single string bridges.
    • ToneMonster SEB v.2 preamp.

  20. image.jpg Sold mine. Was a fun bass, I swapped the stock pre for an aguilar which helped. Was going to put some of the Delano quad pickups in it but it was just too heavy. Id buy another in the right situation to have for playing sitting down at home, but right now money is tight and my arsenal has to be more tailored for my band.
