The great thing about a seven string is:Not only can you play regular bass,

You can also play it vertically.Like a Chapman Stick!
Using Touchstyle technique on all the strings!

You can also do high register chords.
Use a pick for lead lines.
Or tap massive polychords.

I got this because I wanted an N/S Stick.
But an N/S Stick is $2,600.00.
This was $560.00.
And is one string away from a N/S Stick.
For the muting issue I bought an XL size FretWrap.

My 7 string is made by the same company that makes Woodo basses.

it's a bass VI style instrument, but with seven strings ...so a bass VII. Sounds like it'd be kinda sweet because I've been a bit gassy for a bass VI recently.

• Delano SBC-7 HE/S pickups.
• Gold Hipshot Triple Lock single string bridges.
• ToneMonster SEB v.2 preamp.

Sold mine. Was a fun bass, I swapped the stock pre for an aguilar which helped. Was going to put some of the Delano quad pickups in it but it was just too heavy. Id buy another in the right situation to have for playing sitting down at home, but right now money is tight and my arsenal has to be more tailored for my band.
