The great thing about a seven string is:Not only can you play regular bass,
You can also play it vertically.Like a Chapman Stick!
Using Touchstyle technique on all the strings!
You can also do high register chords.
Use a pick for lead lines.
Or tap massive polychords.
I got this because I wanted an N/S Stick.
But an N/S Stick is $2,600.00.
This was $560.00.
And is one string away from a N/S Stick.
For the muting issue I bought an XL size FretWrap.
My 7 string is made by the same company that makes Woodo basses.
