The Official Charvel/Jackson Club!

I got an old 1984 Sandimas neckthru last month and didn't pay that much. A friend bought it and had buyers remorse and messaged me so I just took it from him for a good price

some guy bought it off of reverb and had buyers remorse and asked if I wanted it and took a loss if I would buy it on the spot.
I have a couple others with the humbucker, and this unit has the old emg's in it setup as VVT.
A trendy thing back then.
Here is another one like that.View attachment 4041267

Hey folks. I just got an old bass that my uncle used to play back in the early 90's. It's a charvette by charvel. It's kinda seen better days. Lot of dirt, missing 2 tuner pegs and strings are prob 30 years old . All these things are easy fixed but I'd like to find replacement tuner pegs. Does anyone know which would suit/fit best.
Many thanks

I still have the original Gotoh tuners laying around from my Charvette, in good/ok condition. Shoot me a PM if interested.

A Charvette 400 was my entry into the Charvel/Jackson world. You can even find it in some of my old old posts. Wish I still had it!

Even though its considered a budget bass, the neck on this thing is amazing. So easy to play. I can't wait to get it all cleaned up. The pickup seems to have a great thump. There's a grime on the body that's just from years of playing in dingy bars and venues full of smoke and what not. Gonna be a hell of clean up but it's gonna be worth it.
