Haha. All excellent points. I tried to hawk a kid or two off to my sibling but....no takers. The wife's not into doing a reality show..so that's out...and I tried the same space stacked thing but she got wise to it being stood up when alone.... :(

The ONLY thing that doesn't have me crying about it (still sad, just not crying sad) is that I've been bring just the 15/6/1 around all week and it's much louder than I need. I've never REALLY gotten to crank it. The volume level has always depended more on the house shaking too much or not being able to hear my guitar player's 410 vintage fender tube amp anymore. So massive. I remember one or two of you suggesting that one cab would be enough....you guys are spot on, again.

Pics of my almost finished cab outside where I can get some decent light. I still have to add the grill, put on the corners, add screw covers to the front feet blocks, and do a few touch ups with paint in the ports and along the edge of the baffle.

I had to delete those other crappy pics... just couldn't stand it!

Final weight will be a hair under 43LBS.:hyper:

So you'll beat me on the all important weight wars!!!

I've used lighter stuff than Baltic Birch, but nothing I like better...awesome material, and I can feel confident it can go in and out of the trailer many times and still hold up.

I have a standard 12/6 in the shop, baltic birch. Bare cab w/damping is 27#.. should be under 40 finished??

I think that is my cab you are referring to, dhomer. It would be great if it came in at under 40 lbs. I can't wait to try it out and appreciate your efforts.

I took a bad fall after my gig last night (tripped over something on a crowded stage) and hurt my wrist. I'm glad to know I have a light and easy-to-move cab coming soon!

HAZZAH!!!

Hazzah?!?!? HAZZAH?!?!?!

I don't know what to say. My son, Michael, is 5 and he has found a new show that he loves called Mike The Knight. Anytime anyone does anything good on the show they all yell HAZZAH!!! Which of coarse means my son says Hazah all the time now. I come on here to read about gear and escape from my real life of single parenthood and mediocre bass playing.

There always will be some technical phenomenon dudes out there that are amazing for awhile: then I realize the actual music bores the p--- outa me. Being a tight rhythm section in my music style, is all I care about. When my band starts playin people get up and dance. I know the drummer and I are doin our job then and I :p
