Yeah I have ordered two - both are beautiful basses with solid craftsmanship. Both times I talked with Adrian directly. He is short but courteous. Don't expect progress pictures or really any communication unless you initiate it. Your couch shot will be on time and it will look and play great! And compared to other places like Kiesel, you have huge freedom in selection and builds.

I do, a 5 string 32" Sputnik. Walnut body and Caribbean Rosewood top. It's not the lightest bass I have, my mahogany 30,5" Serek is lighter. But it very well manageable, no problem.

I actually discussed a walnut body for my 6 string Sputnik with Adrian with the same concern and he recommended I went with a walnut top and a swamp ash body. Eventually, I went with the bass as suggested. It weighs 4.1 kg with the ultralyte tuners and the Hipshot aluminum bridge.

I ordered this bass on Oct.17( or maybe 16）,2020. So it took about 3 months from order to finish I think.

My Moped P5 weighs 6.5 lbs. If weight is important to you, specify this as a priority.....best to go with alder or swamp ash (you can spec a walnut top which will not affect weight significantly) and spend for the ultralight tuners/bridge as well as chambering of the body.

I checked out Haeussel's website. It wasn't very helpful. Did you have a choice in the wood used for the covers?

Adrian can use pretty much any wood or stain it the way you like
