The Official MARUSZCZYK CLUB!

Really enjoyed your playing! Very cool
Very cool video, I could listen to that kind of stuff all day!

So you use the mute switch as a pickup select switch?

Thanks for the kind words lads, I really appreciate it.

I innitially asked Adrian for just one switch that would take the neck pickup out of the circuit. I didn't want to lose the balancer though as in a few songs I use 30% neck 70% bridge. Eventually, we decided that two switches will work the best. I use plugins in Ableton to shape my tone, so I don't really need a tone pot.

So then, you use two mute switches? Each one acting as a kill switch for one pickup?

I'd be scared of them. Knowing me, I'd be playing along, and then accidentally lose all my sound.
I play through a rack mounted Win10 PC with ton of VST plugins using a Thunderbolt 3 interface - losing my sound because of mute switches installed on my bass is the least of my worries...
Having said that, I've never had a Windows crash or BSOD. It's a surprisingly stable system.

Did he say that he can? :p

I was going through Sylvain at Maruszczyk USA, and he made it seem it would be possible.

here is the mock-up with gold hardware vs my final chrome version (including some other changes I made). I think the red/gold looked pretty cool, but I got nervous that i wouldn't like it as much in real life.

I have a bass neck with gold frets. The difference between gold and the silver color of nickle/ss frets is subtle. With gold hardware (which I think looks really sharp on the red bass mock-up), gold frets don't add to the gold accent as much as they simply remove the contrast from sliver colored frets.

I chose gold and silver hardware for my build!
Should be interesting to see it in about 3 weeks! :hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper:

So how many of us are waiting to get their couch pic still? I'm going into week 11 for one of my Cazpar builds this coming week. Was just curious how many of us have orders in and how long has it been since you ordered.

10.5 weeks here. I emailed Adrian a few days ago and he said it was ready, but it would be another 2-3 weeks until couch pic because that's when the next shipment comes from the factory.
