The Official MARUSZCZYK CLUB!

The sofa shots are sometimes not so accurate regarding the colors. Do you already have the bass?
Yes, I have it on hand. And here is another photo they sent me.
The colours are probably accurate. Be careful if you want the colours to be exactly as in the configurator.

Hi all,

I was very disappointed after investing in my first premium bass (I have had a Sire Marcus Miller V7 MK1 for several years now). I originally ordered a Fender American Professional II Jazz Bass V earlier this year, which had some faults and was nowhere near as good as I expected (considering that it was an American made Fender).

After submitting a post on Reddit requesting advice on what I was looking for and receiving several responses, I decided to go with a Maruszczyk bass as it appeared to be the absolute best option for the cost.

I then joined Talk Bass after seeing the Official Maruszczyk Club and subsequently ordered my first custom bass from public-peace.de

I am very happy to be part of the club and received the email from Adrian this morning with the photo of my new Jazzus bass, which I will post after this.

Within 2 hours of receiving Adrian's email, I paid the balance and my bass will be on the way to me in UK by tomorrow - I'm so excited.

Further to Hank Scorpio's question above, has anyone else had recent experience with UK customs and receiving their bass - have there been any delays post Brexit etc?

What I can say at this stage is that Adrian has done his best to keep the cost down and to minimise additional import costs, but I don't know what the exact situation is at the moment as FedEx still haven't collected the shipment yet.

Thanks, it's a Maple Burl Top. The colour in the configurator is slightly more brown whereas the actual colour has a bit more of a red shade to it but I'm more than happy with how it's turned out

Ah ok, when colored maple burl can be very close to eye poplar.
Fully agree that the more reddish color shade looks way more attractive. I like it a lot…

Got my couch picture today!! Ordered back in April so I have been dying for it to be done!

It is a Cazpar 6 string piccolo bass.

-30 inch scale
-50mm nut
-15mm string spacing
-joker headstock
-red burst with thin black edges

I’m really pleased with how it looks. Was nervous because it is my first Mensinger/Maruszczyk purchase. The dealer is going back to ask about one thing. I had wanted a bass ramp that fully covers both pickups, so hopefully that can be a quick fix.

Is it just me or is the current ramp wider than the pickups?

I ordered a ramp a few days ago - if they are making a different kind for you maybe they can shave that one down and I won't have to wait 3 weeks :)

Mine is Macassar Ebony, so if that’s what yours is, I hope they can re-use it :)

I intended for them to make me a full pickup cover type ramp, like this:
