Further to Hank Scorpio's question above, has anyone else had recent experience with UK customs and receiving their bass - have there been any delays post Brexit etc?

What I can say at this stage is that Adrian has done his best to keep the cost down and to minimise additional import costs, but I don't know what the exact situation is at the moment as FedEx still haven't collected the shipment yet.

How were the customs fees etc when you received your bass in the end?

Definitely doesn't look like Bruno lol. I'm digging the ovals, I'm glad I went with them. I was hoping they'd use more of the burl circles in the top I picked out but I bet it'll look incredible in person with the matte finish.

From my own experience and also other people's pics, the colors on the sofa shots are sometimes a little different than in real life. Let's see your pictures as soon as you have the bass.

That was my experience. My bass is Red which is a more problematic color in digital formats unless care is taken in color balancing.

I paid on May 28th. Pretty darn fast! I'm still waiting on a Moollon which is now at 15 months of waiting.

@BassmanM I actually ordered the blue burst with a thin black burst. Doesn't look as thin as I was thinking but it looks fantastic with the top.

I put my deposit down for a Frog in mid May. I'm expecting (hoping for) news within a month.

My build was pretty straight forward I think so it was probably quicker to produce. Could also depend on availability of parts too, supply lines are all kinds of messed up these days.

I'm still waiting for this, it's been at the FedEx hub in Germany for 1 week. I contacted FedEx yesterday and I was told that it's been referred to the escalation team. Has anyone else had issues with receiving their bass in UK since Brexit?

The color of the Elwood is called turquoise; I really love this color in combination with the quilted maple as it always looks different depending on the lighting.

The Jake has a custom color which you will not find in the configurator. I sent Adrian some color samples for this one. The basis was what PRS calls „faded blue jean“ and I would say that the guys in Poland got the color pretty well.
Regarding the Xtenders - they sound pretty modern with plenty of output. I also play them for classic rock as well but honestly speaking, I like the more classic pickups (Delano PC-5 HE) in the two Jakes better for this kind of music.
All in all it‘s a matter of taste; the XTenders are very versatile…

That Elwood seems to have a deeper cutaway for the lower bout. Is that a special option or an optical illusion?
