The Official MARUSZCZYK CLUB!

I am fairly certain that mensinger is the same shop that actually makes the maruszczyk basses. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but it really seems that way. I'd expect mensinger basses (and guitars) to be very similar quality-wise if they're made by the same people.

That is also my understanding, but I haven't really found much about the Mensinger models (bass wise).

A few of us are curious. PM a short story if you don't want to broadcast. I'd appreciate knowing what's up.

And then Broadcast it. Just kidding.

Yes, it's The same workshop team behind Maruszczyk and Mensinger Instruments.

Yep!....Same shop and, as far as I'm aware, same people making them....

Love my Mensinger Joker to bits....Thinking of ordering another later this year with one, or two, changes....:)

Now that people have confirmed that it's the same guys I'd expect the craftsmanship to be the same, which is very good from my experience.

Also, interesting: Invalid Link Removed
Mensinger actually offers more models on their own site than on publicpeace. The site is in polish but still fairly easy to navigate. I don't know how up to date that site is, just thought I'd post it here if people are interested.

I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on the shorty Elwood, not sure why...

Anyways, I was wondering if any of you have had experience with the Mensinger basses?

I am growing everly so fond of the Cazpar short scale.
Should be receiving a custom Caspar I actually dont like the head stock, so i ordered mine with a Joker Head stock. should be here by early July. I saw one on you tube. I said to myself Thats the next one.

You are starting quite a collection @Bigal1369 !

I have actually grown fond of the Cazpar headstock, which is a little weird but adds a bit of personality to it.

I will not be placing the order until after summer, so I have plenty of time to change my mind, but at the moment I am trying to decide if I should go 4 or 5 string, and with or without the F-Hole.

After last custom order there's a giant F-hole in my wallet, but if I'd become rich I'd go with 5 or 6-string bass if there's already at least one 4-string)

Well, I am currently at 12x 4 strings and 2x 5 strings, so I guess I am pretty covered in the 4 string category.

I really do like a 5er strung E-C, but both my 5ers are long scale, so they don't get as much attention as they deserve.

I also feel more at home with an 18 or 19mm spacing, which means most 5's are not my cup of tea.

So, whilst I would really like to have that extra string, I am worried that I won't love the bass as much as if it were a 4 string.

I know that the perfect answer is both, as always, but I am not planning on making a habit of spending >1000€ on a bass, I am more of a <500€ guy :D

Welp, these basses surely justify the price! Plus, you can simply ask for 18,19,20 mm string of 5ers, no problem!

I love these Basses made by Maruszczyk. Since my accident and going to a 30" Scale Can't go wrong with these Company. Who else will give you option to change head stock with no questions asked. They aim to please. WARNING: the folling Picture may be disturbing to some viewers. LOL This is way I play short scale Bass now. Play the hand you are dealt, Greatful to GOD to be alive and still able to play Bass. All Healed up . But never at 100% on my fretting arm.

I wish you the very best - but it might be better to hide brutal pictures with the "spoiler" option) Hope it won't affect your playing in a bad way
