They were all installed by Maruszczyk. I get them on all my custom orders. Its a 33 Euro option when you place an order through Maruszczyk. :thumbsup: I have installed them on other project basses though. Years ago I came across this Youtube tutorial video on how to install Luminlay side dots with just a pen/hand drill....Not hard at all :)

They basically just look white when not glowing. Here are 3 of my Maru's with 3mm Luminlay on 3 different fretboards. The dots on the flamed maple fretboard are 3mm including the Black ring so I think the actual luminous material is 2 - 2.5mm. :thumbsup:

That is an awesomely good reason!!

I had the lumilays fitted by Maruszczyk with a black ring around them. The one I'm waiting for now I've not had them put on. My eyes aren't the best and have to wear reading glasses when playing now so black side dots on a maple neck work. I found unless you have a UV light on stage, which I used to, then they aren't much use as you have to keep charging them up with a UV torch.

Well, the wait begins. Something like this is coming at some point:

24 frets, 9,5" radius, Alder / Maple (with graphite), Pau Ferro fretboard. Customizations are removal of the P-pickup and just one volume as electronics. So only a single passive J at the bridge. The reverse headstock was a last minute add, just to make it a bit different - I'll count it as a subconscious tribute to Dusty Hill and my old Hamer 5-string.

It's really hard to find a "basic" P-style bass with 24 frets and a standard radius. I did find a cheap Jackson used about a year ago that has 24 frets and "so so done" compound radius, which is ok but GAS got the best of me finally. :D

I was told last week that there is a shipment on it's way from Poland to Public Peace. I have a bass in this shipment. I haven't seen my couch shot or anyone else's since then, so I suspect it hasn't arrived.

This incoming bass has ordered in February, but was much delayed because of a supply chain issue with ETS, as was my personal Joker B.

No news, the shop I ordered it from told me to expect it in October, it could be in that batch mentioned above hopefully, ordered 23rd May and pups were plentiful in stock so hopefully not to long now. Your order looks nice.

Woke up this morning to the couch shot. I think my customer will agree, it was worth the wait.
