So sorry. I assumed anyone looking at Maruszczyk basses in the official Maruszczyk club would know a Jazzus when he sees it.

I'm really only familiar with the Jake, Elwood and Frog body styles ... Up to now I had not been familiar with the Jazzus ... 1000 pardons sir, I hope you'll see it to forgive me. In fact, I'll give up my official Maruszczyk club membership right now.
Why are you facetiously begging my pardon? I just apologized to you for my assuming. I was simply providing my rationale. No need to be sarcastic. If you’re trying to be humorous, I don’t really get it.
If you go to the Public Peace page, as suggested, you will get to see all models:
Elwood (all 7 variants), Frog, Jake, Jazzus, Mr. Tee, Paddock, Sputnik, and Svoboda.
The usually have a good number of basses in stock both in the US and Europe. They also have tons of demo videos available where you can get a really good idea of how they sound.

Me too, really a fantastic syncopated melody line and the 7/4 time signature (I think) is also very cool.

Fantastic sound indeed, IMHO I much prefer the passive tone over the (too agressive) active tone.
And this oriental inspired tune is awesome!!
Mine came with steel round wound strings (maybe Dunlop? I don’t recall). I changed to my usual DR Sunbeam Nickles. Much smoother sound and not so harsh, even in active mode.
It’s a very cool looking bass. Good ergonomics. Neck has a smooth feel. The only things that bothered me were the fret noise with steels, the location of the strap button on the horn isn’t conducive to certain hard-ended straps, and the pots came loose soon after I got it. I’ve been able to work around all those issues.
It’s not the most a-freaking-mazing bass I’ve ever had in terms of the tones and playability. However, it’s unique looking and I suppose I could have opted for a different electronics package.
It’s a good gigging bass.
The strap that came with it was a nice perk. However, the black leather dye stained a shirt I played in one humid sweaty day gig.
Hence the decision to find a suitable replacement strap. I was going to go all white leather, but this vinyl faux leather one looks and feels nice and was rather inexpensive.
I am not really a fan of bursts, so I would say natural or a color without burst.
....
With a nicely figured topwood like that I'd get a natural matte finish personally.
