Yea, I really appreciate the "artwork" of Mike -- that's why I don't feel comfortable owning only two! :cool:

I personally prefer a very thin and fast neck profile -- my current MTD serves me very well in this regard. My question is, do I have to specifically request Mr Tobias to make a slim neck on my newly ordered one, so that it won't end up with a chunky C-shape neck? :atoz:

I don't think Mike's tendency is to go for a chunky neck. Even the "chunkiest" of the necks I've encountered has not been what I would generally think of as being "chunky" or "C shaped. But it never hurts to discuss such things with him - it's your bass and the clearer you are about what you want the happier you will be. Drop him a line and tell him what your thoughts are.
 
BACK IN!

After not having a USA MTD for a few years. I am back in and I am quite happy. My last one was a ash neck/ebony board. Which was just not quite for me. This time, ash body still but wenge neck..which has just a killer tone!
