Yes, the GK rig is very punchy and has tons of sparkle. Playing these type of gigs is quite different from the norm. The sound from a big system takes a second to adjust to. When you have performed in clubs or ballrooms, you know what to expect. When you play on big stages in front of 10,000 people, it's a different vibe. You are also farther away from each other. I must admit, when I walked out on stage and saw thousands of people and gear that I am not accustomed to, I got the jitters, and started to question everything. I had to settle myself down. When my wife brought my son to the front of the stage, I relaxed. When the drummer gave us the count and we came in, the sound was massive. When people got up and started dancing, it was magical. We kicked it into high gear mid way through the show, and for that time, I was living the dream. The promoter was very pleased and said that she has bigger shows in mind for us.
