Does anyone know whether dots on TOP of the neck/fingerboard are a standard feature? I am not talking about the main fret dot markers on the face of fretboard but rather, on top of the finger board

I've been playing for 15 years and this is the best sounding, most well-built bass I've ever touched. Blows the Sadowsky I briefly had out of the water in every way.

Amazing top! I actually prefer the standard satin finish on MTDs.What do you cats think about the gloss vs standard satin finish?

I like the satin. Gloss might be a bit nicer, but big upcharge. Hmmmm.....
in general, i personally prefer the satin except possibly for quilts and maybe flames (to accentuate the sense of depth). all other wood types and figures i like the more natural look of satin as well as the lower maintenance.What do you cats think about the gloss vs standard satin finish
