Thanks for your words 4-Strings...this is a real 1976 Fender Jazz bass that was originally in vintage white but his old owner made a great job removing the old scratch paint and make a french oil finish over the bass... I replace 2 knobs with Q-parts Abalone knobs, add a Badass that make his action feels like butter..and I found one of the original PU´s wrong...I replace the olds with a new set of Fender Custom shop 60´s PU´s and this bass sounds monster!!!

Yep, that be him! Buffalo Man, IMO, is one of the coolest band logos ever.
Only thing I would like better is the JPJ logo.. Hmm..

'59 P-Bass/'73 neck, 69 tuners, recent restore from P-J and refin to Ocean Turquoise Metallic, plus lots of mods over the years, most reversed, but my main axe since '76
Carvin LB75 (Quilt Maple over Walnut), Ebony board, Audere 4 Band pre - for when I need more notes down low.
70s Fretless Jazz (typical late 70's boat anchor) ('88 MIJ 62 RI neck - defretted), Bart pups and NTMB pre, Wilkinson Bridge... SWEET!
Total Franken Bass, but incredible! 60s MIM body, the best ever US '62 RI replacement neck, reverse tuners, CS 60s pups, Audere 2 band pre, '81 P-Bass Special Bridge.
