They do them in fretless as well, I've seen 5 and 6 FL

I have a black 55-94 with Birdsye, and a black 55-02 with normal Skyline maple.

Both are amazing, although I'm thinking of selling the 55-94 soon. The 55-02 is a plain workhorse for studio and live.

Yep Ric pick ups on the fretted neck and Bartolini active on the fretless.

How does your doubleneck sound? it looks cool!

Fretted neck sounds very similar to a Ric (it has Ric pick ups).
Frettless has a wide variety of sounds due to active pick ups. Also it's not as heavy as most would imagine. It weighs about 1.5 times a 4001.
