yep , I can lower the strings height to 1 mm with no buzz , I've been lucky with that bass . Though there is a dead spot on the 13th fret of the A string when the string's height is too low ; but anyway I don't play with such a low height 
....and i'm bored so here goes.
This is my MIJ Fender Precision Lyte (1989). I purchased it about 2 months ago and cost me £300. (Which is a bargain )

The neck is so slim on this beast, so it plays fast. Really fast. Especially with some GHS 'Fast Fret' put on! Its so light, you can literally play this thing ALL night. The tone on it is amazing, but the bass on the pre-amp is always near the top otherwise it has no bass at all. (Which i don't mind, i suppose thats what you get with a small basswood body!) The p-pup helps out quite alot though. It really sings from the mids all the way through to highest trebles possible.
ITS AN ABSOLUTE SLAPPERS DELIGHT!!!
I'm thinking of changing the preamp as the pots are getting scratchy and the indents are starting to loose themselves. Other than that i can keep it in my soft case, travel to the gig and it'll still be perfectly in tune when i get there. It also has a 3-bolt on neck with the 'micro tilt' system, which i don't think is set up properly becuse a couple of frets past 17th have fret buzz. (I'm not going to attempt to alter the neck as i have no experience with the micro tilt system and would like a professional from fender to set it up properly.)
Apart from those issues, which are easily adjustable, this bass is amazing.

FAST FRET?! Is that that spray people use to make the strings easier on their fingers?! Dude...that doesnt kill your strings and neck finish? I used that stuff ONCE and my strings died in days. Took me weeks to get the neck feeling right again... Then again...i have the driest hands on earth, i think.
Aside from that....Killer looking P. One of the first fenders i actually have a little GAS for. It must be the lack of pick guard...with the sunburst. Very cool.
This is my first post ever so i thought I'd start with at curly one. This is an Aria bass of unknown year or model (any ideas anyone?). Vintaxe reckons it was made between 63-66. There are no serial numbers anywhere on it. Plays nicely, medium c neck. Sounds interesting, very much like an eb3, fat and muddy! The original truss rod was rubbish so had it replaced with a new dual action one. This is actually my daily player at the moment.
Dang! Well now I have no doubt where they got the inspiration for the Ibby Jet King...
Have you ever tried playing you bass with grease on your fingers (I know thats REALLY BAD!!!) Basically your fingers just slide up and down the strings, and on the front it says 'Prolongs and brightens string life', which IMHO it does. I havn't had any issues with my neck either, cause i've applied Dunlop lemon oil before hand, which makes a rosewood neck look very sexy
When i picked it up it just looked like the sorta antique bass that you'd have up your, but played it and was amazing
Oh, and its not sunburst, it '2-tone Tobacco Burst'
