Got my new G&L SB-1 over the weekend. It's redburst over swamp ash with black pg and maple board. The flash pictures make it look brighter. It's really a very deep dark red. Nice grain in the body and figuring in the board.

This is my first post ever so i thought I'd start with at curly one. This is an Aria bass of unknown year or model (any ideas anyone?). Vintaxe reckons it was made between 63-66. There are no serial numbers anywhere on it. Plays nicely, medium c neck. Sounds interesting, very much like an eb3, fat and muddy! The original truss rod was rubbish so had it replaced with a new dual action one. This is actually my daily player at the moment.

no clue on model...but i really dig its retro feel! Since...ya know...its probably original!

the stork in the brown van paid a visit today and dropped off a little brother for my baby. My wife and I have decided to call him Geddy. His bigger sister is just going to have to get used to him being around the house now

Baby is an '83 MIA (a one owner thank you very much) with Fender Custom Shop 60's Jazz PUPs, a BadAss II and she likes to go with out a pickguard in public, she's a rebel like that.

Geddy is bone stock...for now. ;)

Hmm.. I would go tort guard, and black out the tuners and such. I have always longed for a fretless maple neck with blocks. :bassist:
