I know that I am an old schooler, but how do ya play that 'thing"!

Like a bass. More strings=more range. Think of a regular size keyboard, in comparison to a grand piano. Grand pianos arent some imposible instrument to figure out. same deal with Extended Range Bass.

It's the only bass I've ever had that works with chrome hardware so I immediately changed the black plastic knobs to the chrome Pbass ones. I know what your saying though, was thinking of the black Sadowsky knobs for a change soon...

The singlecut is in the process of switching from chrome to black hardware at the moment.

Just arrived this morning from Pete Hanewinckel's shop. Less than 8 lbs., very playable 34-inch scale with a great sounding low B. Just a monster bass. As usual, Pete was a pleasure to work with. Craftsmanship is second to none.
