Wow, there are some gorgeous instruments in this thread. I feel sort of inadequate, but I'll use this, my first post, to show off my girly's.
My newest acquisition, Cream to begin.
in the case
close-up of the detail on headstock
Close up of the back. So far (1 day in) she is super comfortable to play, not as difficult as I initially thought. Sounds great so far, with a quick setup, she will be 'Cream' indeed

And now the others
Carla - Carlo robelli USB590 fretless 4
Cherry - Shecter Diamond series Stiletto Extreme 5 (no mods yet)
Group shot, carla, Isabelle and cherry.
isabelle - Ibanez Roadstar II - RB850 (I think dates about 1988, not sure though)
She was my first bass, and is all original (apart from battery and strings obviously)
Still played daily and sounds fantastic.
My second bass Lex - 5 string J&D Luthiers - cheapy picked up at a pawnshop for about $100, and then a bit modded....new pickups (can't remember exactly, but seymour duncan somethings, stacked humbuckers) and she is now a string-thru 5, with some weight added at the back to aid balance, and re-shaped slightly as well. due for another refresh soon, maybe some EMGs or something fun
Pixie - Aria Pro II - Cardinal (CSB380) named after the pixies (80s band)
She has a Bartolini Mark IV humbucker w/coil tap (sounds great).
Anyway, thanks for looking, And thanks as well for letting me look at your beautiful collections as well.
