This is my 70's something Kramer w/ alum. neck. Bought in 87' was black and had red blood splatts. In 97' I repainted it black and put a mirror pickguard on it, I wanted it to look like an old Harley. In 2008, I had to replace the old Dimarzio jazz pup with an 80's Aria pro pup I got from a salvage bass, sounds great and is actually a good match for it.

This is my Grand Acoustic/ Electric bass, My Wife bought me this for Christmas 2008,love it. Use it for practice, parlor jams and have used it for worship services. I also have a Carvin bass, I believe it is an LB70 which is 15 years old and a P-Bass I built in 2007 which consist of unknow neck and tuners fender reissue 58' bridge, 62 reissue pickguard, unknown body, and Ibanez roadstar pup.This was built in 2007 and is in playing rotation.

Custom J Bass. This thing is almost done, but I am waiting on my neck to arrive from Warmoth. It's a a Warmoth swamp ash standard J body with Lindy Fralin Vintage Jazz pickups, a Leo Quan Bad Ass III bridge, Schaller strap locks, and a bunch of Fender hardware. I routed it for a Stratocaster jack plate because I don't like having the cable stick straight out, so the toggle switch that I put where the jack usually goes is a three way deal that goes series-off-parallel.

The neck is AAA grade birds eye maple with maple fretboard, black block inlay, black binding, jumbo nickel frets, and glossy finish. I have hipshot tuners to put on it, one of them being the D tuner for the E string. Also got a Levy's padded leather strap and a deluxe Fender J case for it, and I will be stringing it up with Rotosound 66 standard gauge strings.

What's the scale length on that Alembic? What year? I loves me a good old-fashioned Series I or II, there's something wonderfully business-like about those original body shapes.

That "Alembic" is missing a headstock badge. Is it real?

It's a Fernandes from the late 70's/early 80's, it has the active pickups, Q switches, power supply, through neck, etc - It also has a lot of family history, it has been in my family for almost 30 years. Sounds incredible, actually too good for this beginner. I'm sticking to the Ibanez for now.

It's just a 2006 Standard Jazz Bass refinished in black nitro. Also, I added Custom shop 60's pickups, pickup covers, thumbrest and a tortoise-shell pickguard. The neck is 100% stock.
