Hi all, this is my first post on talkbass, just wanted to show off my bass, i'm very proud of her
She's a partscaster and cost me 1000.00 to put her together.
Neck: Geddy Lee
Machines: Schaller Vintage
Body: Highway one
Controls: Highway one
Pickups: SD Quarter Pounders
Bridge: FCH - Babicz
I have recently put flatwounds on her to combat the sometimes intense brightness of the maple Geddy Lee neck and to take some of the finger noise out of the quarter pounds. She sounds lovely now.

). This creates the appearance of two black lines when the light shines on it from certain angles. I must admit, the gap at the lower edge is slightly wider than the gap at the top, although I hadn't noticed until you pointed it out. Maybe I should send it back
