early to mid 70's ampeg big stud. made in japan (possibly by univox?). seen them get a lot of bad reviews on here, mainly for the laminated body & weight but this ones a keeper. plays & sounds excellent, not super heavy, very clean.

-Pyramid strings
-floating bridge is slightly slanted to improve intonation
-big fan of the cavern spacing, this is a much woodier darker sound than the early 60s models
-removed the black pickguard

I gotta admit that is one of the top 5 basses I've seen in TB and in my whole life.
I'm a Jazz Bass guy but I've been wanting a Precision Bass like this one since a few months ago when my girlfriend gave me a Key Chain of a P Bass with this exact color combo.
My current project is modifying a Squier VM J Bass to turn it into a cheap version of and American Vintage 75' J. The next one will definitely be a White/Gold P Bass.
Congrat on this beautiful instrument. Definitely a keeper.
Thanks guys. It's a total gem. Blew my mind how spotless it was an all of the case candy that it had with it including the original inspection sheet from the Corona custom shop tech.
plays excellent, thanks. i play with the "jazz" pickup mostly. great tone also. when i got it it had very old tapewound strings, i put on dr sunbeams and lowered the action, as good as new.

a Greco EB720. 1978
onepiece HEAVY mahogany body with set mahogany neck. varitone switch that works like the original EB3`s the only difference from a 60s EB3 is the long scale neck and neck pickup placement.
plays great, low action with no buzz, easy to bend strings. sounds great. I plan to switch the minihumbucker with a SGD Lutherie to make it more versatile. But also thinking about a darkstar paried with a thundertron. but can`t afford, and do not want to carve the wood.
A Framus BG-13. late sixties or early 70s.
bolt on neck, standard 3way switch, two band passive eq (bass and treble) and one volume knob. zerofret!
ultrashortscale! 28,5 inch
this has a very typical mid60s shortscale sound, and I plan on setting it up with flats. It`s sort of a onetrick pony anyway, but is the most comfortable bass I`ve ever layed my hands on. It`s butter! very low action, very easy to bend strings, and NO buzz.
