Awesome bass! I bought it when they first came out! I recently gave it some much needed TLC, new pots, rosewood knobs, polished frets, etc. And as you see, I was into amber finish!

i put some "les paul look" knobs and it look great, ill but some pics when i got time

This is my two, the only two I've ever owned and couldn't bring myself to get rid of, though it came up more than once.

Peavey Foundation, got it for my 16th bday.

Carvin LB76. Worked construction for a whole summer to buy this. Back then you had to fill out a sheet with your selection and mail it to them. Not sure why I got the detuner on the B string, but I did. This bass never ceases to amaze me at how good it sounds and how easy it plays. Don't mind the fingerprints.

Sorry for the crappy cellphone shot. In the center is my old main axe, a Carvin LB75 that was my reward to myself after landing my first 'real' job out of school, ages ago.

Bracketing her are my christmas and thanksgiving presents to myself last year. The Dingwall Afterburner 1 on the right I found for a decent price on ebay around thanksgiving and pulled the trigger since I knew that it would be many years yet before I could justify what I REALLY wanted, which was a Dingwall Z3.

Then right after Christmas I was trolling the boards and there she was, a blueburst Z3, a 95% match for what I would have chosen had I ordered one brand new, offered in mint condition for sale at a ridiculously low price. Luckily my wife is an understanding sort, so now I have both, on the condition that I can only keep 2 basses. I want to sell the Carvin, but she's my first 'real' bass and I have years of history with her, but when A/Bing her against the AB1, the AB1 is just so much better. I'm hoping it takes long enough that the wife forgets that I'm only supposed to have 2 instruments...
