Thanks! Ever since I sold this Edwards, I have been experimenting with more than two pickups. The Yamaha is going up on the bay soon since Its not really a sound im looking for (its a super jazz!)I love that yamaha!! The pickups remind me of this:

OK, First post to Talkbass so I'll attempt to put a picture of my main electric bass squeeze here.
Self-designed and built, Solid walnut, Seymour Duncan quarter pounder encased in a walnut block serves as a string ramp also, GHS Pressurewound mediums, recessed Dunlop Straplocs, hand shaped patina finished raw brass bridge and string retainer, maple flush frets in an ebony constant radius finger board, Shaller deluxe enclosed tuners, CTS volume pot and Switchcraft output jack. That's all the gory details!

There's lots of luthiers who would make you a copy, unfortunately for me there are just too many instruments and too little time!
I did a bit of work to the HoBoCaster .... new pickup, new shiny bottlecap in the headstock, and a nice old Chevy Bel Air emblem....
