The official "Show your basses" thread part 16!

Here are mine. Left to right. A squire p bass (rebuild) mim fender p bass special deluxe, greg bennet acoustic, cort g74, cort 34 (rebuild) . The one by its self is a bronco bass body with a short scale mustang neck and epiphone thunderbird bass pickups. This one is my most recent build! I love em' all!!!

Yesterday was NBD. This came home to my collection.

And the rest of the family...

I have recently added two new "builds" to my bass collection.

The white one is passive fretless with rotosound nylon strings and bridge pickup very close to the bridge so it has quite unique (very strong mids) tone. The pickups are some random cheapo pickups from ebay and are AMAZING. Body is alder.

The other is built from very cheap parts. 20 dollars for the basswood body, 80 dollars for the maple neck. Another set of random ebay pickups (also great) for 25 dollars. It also has the Marcus Miller preamp. So it's has nice slap sound. Superb bass for about 200 dollars.

I generally don't care too much for maple fretboards, but this is quite nice. Very striking top as well.

That's a Spector Holoflash finish, right? Looks great... although I've never seen one up close and personal.

That is a Spector Holoflash. Sweet little Legend Pro that I stumbled onto and picked up for a song. Every way you turn her, she's a different color. Spectacular to put under colored lights.

Thanks for the compliments on the other girls, too. They sound just as awesome as they look. I've been a very fortunate to get the basses that I have in the family so far.

It's kind of funny and a bit sad that someone identifies the NS body shape with a Warwick when Spector had it long before Warwick did!
