The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

I am enjoying Spector's cheap seats.

I never thought I'd own another Epiphone Les Paul Special bass after selling my last one for having the worst case of neck dive of any bass I've owned until then and since. This one has been the complete opposite experience with very little neck dive on a 2" guitar strap. Picked it up from a Houston GC for $204.

I no longer have the Westone Pantera X775 but I still want to dabble in lower tunings so this bass will be setup for C Standard. I might just do the same with my 99' Gibson Les Paul Studio while I'm at it. I was told my Studio sounded like a monster when I installed the Super Distortion + PAF Pro pickup combo so it might be the best candidate on the guitar side.

Oh I like how this one is turning out. I'm a sucker for white, black and maple.
The Darkglass jazz bass was just too heavy (10.75lbs) so I got this PH body to swap the neck and electronics to. After swapping the neck and plugging it in, I was so impressed with the sound that I've decided to just convert it to passive and sell the Darkglass loaded jazz body.

At just a hair over 9lbs with the jazz neck and PH configuration, I think I'll be good with this one for a while. The bridge pickup is slightly closer to the bridge as well.

It's too bad these were given such trash preamps because they're great otherwise. I guess the bright side is they can be had for relatively cheap. And yes, the preamp in the PH body is already dying haha

This just came in, and will be a flip. Listed in Classifieds after I added fret indicators and set it up. Is very cool , but have decided Im stepping away from fretless for now. I have no gig requirement for one, and it’s distracting me from focusing on more important stuf. Plus I need the $$$ to recoup the cost of this…….

Which arrives Friday. Oh, and I also have 2 of these on the way……..

Currently in process in china…..ordered them unbadged as I have no desire to own a counterfeit. It’s a Rick body with a Spector style thru neck. Was never offered as a production model, but I figured I’d mod them with better electrics and bridges….here they are in process. Hopefully will arrive soon…
