How do the two on the right compare? Looks like a Custom Shop Warwick vs a Fodera.

Similar tone obviously due to the pickup positioning, but they are completely different animals. The Warwick has that trademark growl and has a deeper sound. The Fodera is brighter due to the bolt on and wood choice. The Fodera is an overall more comfortable player due to weight. But every time I plug the Warwick in, Im reminded how amazing it sounds. Fit and finish on both are amazing.

My two medium scale Aria Pro II’s. Csb-300 and tsb-350, needed more definition and clarity than the stock humbuckers could provide me. After some thinkeringthis is the result, works like a charm!

I appreciate how none of these are going to have the same tones. Different pickups in different locations. That's what I'm trying to do in getting a third bass.

My 2006 Edwards (ESP) I just picked up

... DiMarzio model P, fender bridge/pickguard (all the holes lined up and everything lol), ash/nitro. Plays great, sounds great. Its tuned BEAD... I just got a spot on a worship team in a bigger area church and I figured I would pick up something less gaudy/ more under the radar than my other two basses

Do you always keep the ashtray on your jazz bass? And the pickup cover too. That’s a lotta metal. Do you reckon it sounds different with them on vs off?

Wow, a BB-with-Attitude! Cool, hadn't seen one before.

I don't regret the purchase... I had to choose Maruszczyk/Union Jack Precision... but it was actually too specific a paint job... I negotiated the price until someone finally bought it... And this Yamaha appeared. , half the price, so I took the risk and I don't regret it... Comfortable! Holds the outfit perfectly. Of course, the sound, as usual, is a matter of taste.

This is my Khruangbin's Laura Lee tribute bass. So it must have the pickups covers.
She has them on for the cool factor which prevails over playability or tone

She plays a SX bass. Mine is a Fender Player but only the body is original now
