This beauty just came in.
As a 15-year old kid I dreamt about having a Jackson bass like this, unfortunately, at that time, they were a bit much beyond my budget.
Now I found this one, a real Jackson, okay Chinese made, and fairly cheap, but the exact model as the one I wanted as a teen.
So I couldn't say no.
Tags are still on, right out of the box. Plays really nice, a good light weight, fast neck, and doesn't feel like a cheap piece of junk, to be honest.
Passive electronics, which I like, and decent humbuckers, nothing spectacular.

2015 AVRI 63 P. Strung with labellas and has a Seymour Duncan Antiquity 2 installed.
1965 Jazz bass. 100% original strung with labellas.
MJT/Musikraft P. Strung with rotosound 66’s and also has an Antiquity 2. Only weighs 7.5 lbs.
Squier Rascal HH. Has labellas installed.
I have another MJT bass build on the way, using Musikraft parts and real 60’s Fender Jazz bass pickups in fiesta red with matching headstock. Should have it within the next 30 days.

That '65 J looks to be in mint condition - when in '65 was it made?
It is pretty much as close as you can get to mint. When I was taking the control plate screws off, I could hear the paint cracking, which means there’s a very good chance that I’m the first guy in there in 60 years.
It has a Jun65 stamp. Honestly one of the best Jazz Basses I’ve ever played.

Hilarious! Are you recording the conversations I have with myself and the justifications for my wife?!
The Harley Benton P-bass got a paintjob (slightly relic'ed metallic black), but, unfortunately, at disassembling the bass, it turned out one of the cogwheels of the tuners was being eaten by the tuning peg, so I had to order a new set, which hasn't arrived yet
Gave the bass new pickups & electronics (EMG Geezers), and the pickguard has been painted black as well.
I intend to use it as a backup bass for my band, probably tuned to BEAD, or perhaps even F#BEA, but then I need to modify the bridge and nut.
We'll see.

I'm interested in the speaker behind the three basses in your photo. It looks like it would hold a pair of Aguilar SL112's. What make is it?

Actually my old Euphonic Audio VL-110 from '97 and another one I picked up used last year. Here's a less obstructed view:
One of my favorites… fender guitar center special edition p/j with a 70’s style jazz neck. Plays and sounds great. Setup with fender flats and it’s just soo smooth!
Perhaps my favorite picture of this bass, it's like the ocean.
