I've got one of those too, mine is from -95 and then these were called Pro Line, instead of Standard. For me the bridge pickup has been replaced, since the original just stopped working. I need to get around to have a refret on this thing.. The first 3 frets especially are so worn down it's causing alot of unwanted buzz. I really love the neck! I usually don't like the 38mm nut width, but since the Warwick neck is pretty chunky depth wise, I don't mind it.

Beautiful bass! 30 years before a re-fret doesn't sound horrible, although I'm sure the wallet is never fond lol. Neat fact about Pro Line before Standard.
I think the deep neck helps with a shorter width nut too. I don't mind smaller width necks, but agree having a deeper neck makes it more enjoyable to play vs something like a Jazz bass. Not that a Jazz is bad, I still enjoy them. Nothing like an Ibanez neck! My fingers don't feel home on thin necks.

I love a decent PJ bass.
Went to my local musicstore to tryout a Sterling Ray2, and did come across a few other basses to tryout.
(Cort Action PJ, Squier Affinity PJ, Sire M2, Schecter C4 Diamond).
Liked the Schecter, but it was a little bit over my budget, so, I was on the fence between the Cort and Sterling.
Then, 2 British lads entered, and they picked up an Ashdown Saint I hadn't noticed yet.
Luckily, the store had another one available, which I tried out.
In the end, both me and the lads left the shop with this bass.
The roasted maple neck plays very smooth, and the frets are rolled off a bit, so, no touchy edges. The inhouse brand Alnico V pickups are bright and powerful, too bad the Jazz pickup isn't noise canceling, but well, for the price it's what it is. No frills, but a very decent build quality.
For the time being, I'll leave it stock, but I might mod it to fit extra heavy gauge strings to tune down to F#, the stringholes in the bridge are big enough for a .175 gauge, so it'll just be a nut adjustment and intonation.
But it was set up perfect in the store, so, for now, I'll keep it as it is.

3 basses and my 000-16. Had no idea these have Adirondak spruce tops, grandpa picked a good one!
Reminds me of the FCs 69 that they released a few years back. Though I think your finish looks better.
