as you can probably see - around the jack there is some pretty good cracked finish.

- well its been a long time, but finally there's a new picture of my gremlin! My father-in-law changed out all the old crackly electronics with fancy new low-end chinese stuff, plus we switched the tuning pegs. He also cleaned it up nicely and installed the pickguard. He went with the original knobs because they fit better than his, I like the black knobs popping on the wood. It goes well with the black tuning pegs on the blonde headstock. Not bad for a craigslist project.

Nice looking basses. Let me know how the HB7's work with your Squier as I've been considering changing out my tuners but not sure if I should go with Hipshots or Wilkinson's.
