How's that NT stingray treating you?

Looking at buying a 4 string stingray sometime soon.
Limited finish options for the NT and less of them out there. Hearing some good reviews but can't identify most of it through videos.
Do you find its significantly different from the standard bolt ons?

I had a standard stingray for a few years and i liked it but i limit myself to three basses, otherwise I'd be broke 24/7 365. Nothing really stands out as a lot different other than the access to the lower neck is a lot better and possibly the sustain. same EQ and industrial feeling on the build, it stays in tune and is kind of heavy but is a joy to play. the neck is flawless and has no sharp edges on the frets. the finish is incredible and the transparent burst is applied to the back of the body and the neck. I am pretty sure this bass will be a keeper.

Ok @IvanMunoz - tried to locate the post referred to (your post) to ask .., what is up with the black tape on the bridge pu? I recently saw a Herbie Hancock performance (vid) showing similar pu taping - what's up with that?

The Fender Elite P looks to be a great instrument. Look at all them frets in the solo range! And a choice of pick-ups! My concern is the weight and, of course, the price. The MM Caprice weighs approx. 8.9 lbs. compared to my Stingray at 10.5 lbs. plus there's no contour with this sucker. Anyway, you've got a hearty collection there.

That's a piece of foam I use as a mute on the CT!
This was before I modded it to cavern so I had to really jam it between the bridge and the pickup.

Oh, now I can see/read it correctly - before I saw your pic I watched this vid and both guitarists had what appears to be tape on their pu's (?) and bridge for some reason. I thought your bass looked similar and wasn't sure if there was some new thing players were adopting.
