Want to show off my new Gibson SG Bass!
Got it in mint condition off of CL as an impulse buy. Put some Rotos on it and I'm loving the tone. I've only had it for about two weeks but I've already recorded a bunch of music with it. Can't put it down

I think it might be short scale, but I would take that with a heap of salt.
Nice basses though.

Nice grain pattern on the body (back pic?) The hs.., well, you're new here. Without going too deeply into a chronic topic - those decals are unnecessary and your bass will look just as nice or nicer w/o them. Trust me on this. Welcome to tb.

I had a lot more some years ago, but still got a lot nonetheless ^^' Each row is in fact composed of two rows. I do not know about German market but here it's totally submerged, so i am much more careful about what i bought. Except Urasawa, you can not go wrong with him.

2016 Deluxe Active P Surf Pearl jazz width neck switched to passive and also loaded with EMG Geezer's Roto RS66's just got this one from a TB'er off the classifieds last Friday so still in the honeymoon stage
2016 Parts P StewMac Sonic Blue Swamp Ash body with 50's series Maple neck Duncan SPB-1's Roto RS66's with those Roto's it gets that 60's and 70's classic rock tone everyone loves.
2016 MIM Midnight Blue parts P Alder body jazz width neck again loaded with EMG Geezer PU's Roto RS66's sick low action and a good combination of classic and newer style tones
Last but not least 1960 Precision refin Oly White. What can I say except that it kills and always has. Roto RS-66's on a vintage slab board with clay dots neck is very wide but has a real thin profile rock solid and stable. I've owned it since the early 70's and have adjusted the neck maybe three times inall those years.
NOTE: not shown in picture my Reverend Rumblefish and my Ibanez SRX 400. Also a mid 70's RIC 4001 that's currently taken apart to be repaired and rebuilt.

I love the way those really old Brazilian boards oxidize to an almost ebony black colour. That one was easy to pick out of the lineup. I really like those pearl surf green basses, I don't think they were sold in my country.OK I'm in

Super Jelly of the middle one! My dream bass is a sonic blue p with a maple neck!
Another thing that helps darken up that beautiful slab of Rosewood is over 45 years of my playing. Many of those on the road on stages in smoky bars under bright stage lights. Lots of sweat worked down into that Rosewood. It feels real smooth very much like Ebony. AFAIK Fender made two models with the Surf Pearl finish. The one I have and another one that was done for Guitar Center. Glad you like them.
The Sonic Blue bass is one of my favorites. With the 50's profile slightly fatter P neck it just sings with Roto's. Super punchy and the Duncan SPB-1 adds just the right amount of grind when you dig in. Played with a pick it really shines for classic rock stuff. I had a Rosewood neck on it to begin with and a stock USA P pickup in it but it just wasn't a good fit tonally with the Swamp Ash body. Way too scooped sounding. Adding the beefier Maple neck and the Duncan PU added in the mids it needed. In fact that Rosewood neck is the one that's on the Midnight Blue bass now where it's a perfect neck tonewise on that bass. You just never know what combo is going to sound good.
sure! I have very little information about it... it's written "Bass collection" on the body (...actually the B has almost completely faded, so you read "ass collection" instead)
Passive pickups, good tone, neck could be graphite, body I have no idea... unlike the original Kubicki you put the string ball on the bridge and you lock the other end on the headstock. The tuners are on the bridge (more like a Steinberger though).
....And yes, I'm a John Taylor fan
In my opinion, due to the shape of the pickups, the bridge and the knobs this is a ExFactor copy realized by the japanese Headway Co. (the same of Riverhead basses); they seems the same that Riverhead Unicorn Bass RUB-1100 fits!
