what's the story on the fretless P-bass?

Hi i picked this Peavey Fury up last week from a pawn shop for $100 it was in good shape for a 20 years old pawn shop reject but very dirty.
It had been there for over 3 years and no one wanted it it was not loved any more, i had seen it when i was looking for my first bass to learn on.
I found Talkbass Fourm by serching best beginners bass guitar, and the yamaha rbx 170 was the one that most people recommended so i found one and bought it.
now it was 1.5 years later and i can play some no master by no means, but i wanted a p bass so i went looking for one and reading post on Talkbass about the ones i found.
well to make a long story short i ended up with a dirty 20 year old made in the U.S.A. Peavey Fury. after giving it a good cleaning and hand buffing everything This Little Fury is loved again and will never be rejected to a life in a Pawn shop. It has found a home and is loved very much.

Peavey T-40 because I had to have one. Its very versatile.
My newest Bass that need no introduction the Rickenbacker. I saved for that one.
A repainted and rewired Fender Squire PBass. All parts are new, only the wood and tuners are original.
And last but not least, my American Fender Jazz V. Because the wife said buy American. This is my go to country bass.
A Kawai FIIB it's an amazing bass, pretty much an Alembic Clone. They very aweswome TBer Bassman8416 was the previous owner and updated the electronics to get it even closer to sounding like one.
here is my second RBasic bass, this is his own Bassmaster model, the first one I got was a P bass with many mods
this one is a alder body, flame maple neck, ebony fretboard, stainless steel frets, bone nut, hipshot ultralight tuning pegs, hipshot b style bridge, Delano pickups, Glockenklang 3 band eq, it is very lightweight and it plays like butter

1984-1986 Precision - This was made in Japan, the serial # begins with an E. I got it as a gift, new, around 1986.
Anyone have any input on the Japanese P-Basses? Not alot of info out there, but this bass plays beautifully.
