I've been telling myself the same thing. I'm at 16 Basses and down to 1 acoustic and a Les Paul. I only have 1 neck that needs a body, lol.

This is three of them. The Regent is the first bass I ever owned. Bought used around 1974. The middle is an LTD 6 string. The third is a Washburn hollow-body semi-acoustical that I have had since around 2000. I got it for 1/2 price at a store going out of business. The family also contains a GT Microbass, a home-made upright and an unnamed upright.
There are various acoustical and electric guitars, one dulcimer, 3 banjos, a harmonica, a D'jembe, a Cajon, electric and acoustic drums and one kazoo. We have a very diverse family. No prejudices here.
It's a modified Warmoth 30" scale, wenge on mahogany that I made to accompany the guit@r version that I like so much.
The Washburn? It is the one on the right. It isn't a short scale. I guess it looks like it in the photo. It is an AB-20. At the time I bought it, it listed for a little over $1200.00. I got it for half price. The LTD is a B-206SM.
Those are my main tools with the '62 Gibson EB-0 mentioned in the sig.
LtoR: '83 Fullerton '57 P-bass Burgundy mist refin, '16 CS Journeyman Relic with very dark blueish finish and my main axe the '73 P-bass lake placid blue gone wild green something (refin made back in the 70’s).

what do you use to hang that Hohner B2B headless? I have a Hohner G2T and I'd like to hang it also.

Is the neck on the Gretch really wide or is the picture deceiving me ?

The pic is distorting it. The neck on the Gretsch is crazy narrow and thin. I have a Geddy Lee Jazz bass with the thin neck, and the Gretsch feels small compared to it.
On the bottom is a standard wall hanger. I bent the two parts of the hanger out wide so they would sit right in the grooves in the body of the bass and hold solid. The top is just a simple plastic holder that I designed and 3D printed myself. If you send me a PM we can talk offline and I'll be happy to print one for you.
